A little while back a local Kart track did some minimoto races and pitbike supermoto races MY pal and I got pretty hooked on it. He talked me into doing a few nationals and they had a sidecar class I think it was 200cc max the amount of work that went into them was amazing looked fun too.

Pitbikes is cheap racing, we ride with them at some track nights, the CRF150 boys can turn good laps, but the bikes can turn in to money pits. Sidecars just look like a license to meet nurses

Just a Short clip of the evil one, the whole race is in short clips, 001 - 006 no idea why its done like this. doesn't look it but very very tricky conditions really greasy.

One from 2011. I seem to get best helmet can action from other people.. in this case Malachi Mitchell Thomas.. sadly lost to us last year at the NW200..

30 years and 30 KG between us. Needed a new front tyre but didnt have one , front was pushing for fun, hence the lack of mid corner speed. Old age and treachery against youth and exuberance.

Nothing wrong with a bit of treachery As I got older it was the slow corners that I suffered most in because its so physical at lower speeds, but it was nice to come back in & some young pup would say "your a wily old bar steward"

I enjoyed racing the young uns, because for most of them coming through, i was older than their dads, but after a while, you realise that they are taking risks that you dont want to. When i stopped riding here and went to Germany, it was just for a change of scenery and some fun with the guys i knew over there, by the second year we were getting invited to into the International class races, and in the national class , i finished 6th for the year with a podium that didnt add up to my age.. time to move on. So we race in the Over 40 class, which is great fun, very tough , but with guys who dont want to knock you off for fun. Well most of the time.

I get a phone call "I've got a 79 red rocket tank which is bashed to buggery think you could do any thing with it?" I should have taken before pics but forgot.It was bad, I cut the bottom out, dressed it & put it back together, Just needs taking back to metal & respray.

@Enword you would make a lovely partner for my ex husband ... last time we spoke ..a while ago .. he had about 70 classic bikes dating back to when they first came out .. he spends about 12 hours every day making parts and putting yet another bike together in original form .. I think I've got that right .. along with his Morgan Ferari Porche etc etc etc he doesn't tell me much..

Anyway gotta go now to find which doorway I'm sleeping in tonight.
