How deep is your Mattress and.......? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Can I ask how deep your mattress is please? and what type (reflex foam/memory foam)?.

Looking at our old one, I am sure it was only around 11cm. But it was on Froli!

Ours is 8" thick and we got it from memoryfoamwarehouse.co.uk in 2014. Much more comfortable than our previous mattress and only £239.99 delivered (we have a French bed).

It is a Coolmax Deluxe which has a memory foam top (2" I think).

We've got the original Hymer mattress (circa 2007) on a rear french bed. In old money about 6inches thick I'd guess?
In a replacement wouldn't the thickness be governed by the side restraints/boxing in panels (or whatever you'd call them) surrounding the mattress?

Our bed is made of the seat cushions whichust be 6 or so inches thick and we have 4 inches of memory foam on top.

We found a place in Bradford that makes to any size, thickness and style - wanted sprung mattress with memory foam (10 inches in total) and had to be very precise over measurements and they made it exactly as we requested. I can look out their name if anyone wants it.

The ones on our new Hymer are about 6" deep. But they are on the Froli spring system. They are very comfortable and I find myself sleeping better in the van than I do at home.

we have 3 inches of foam with a two inch memory foam bonded on cost us £200 from a local foam company

I used to have a very lumpy mattress but since I started motorhoming its become far more comfortable. Strange eh .
