When I started F2's weren't allowed starter motor's so always had dead engine starts I think H&S stepped in.
But...................................

Probably right about H&S.
LE MANS start in car racing was abolished in the UK in the 60s for the same reason.

Thats him and this is me on the side of his Imp at Cadwell when we were classic racing. Mark had broken his hand in the previous race.
He was quick and obviously going places.

I dont get it... wall to wall coverage of the best racing on the Planet, and because it isnt free ( and these days nothing is free) you will just not bother. Its a business, that relies on people who want to watch the racing, watching it... of course , if more people paid , and the audience grew, the ROI to advertisers would be bigger, which they could sell for more , and then sell to us for less, which means more people could watch , and they could get more advertising , which means is would get cheaper and.....

Life is too short, skip a trip to a garden centre in the spring and pony up.
