Hi Ad, you can have a dozen holes, won't make any difference, your fill rate will be dependant on your pipes from the filler to the tank, Probably 8mm. Pubs a good idea if you can get the wife to hold the gun. ::bigsmile:

Hi Olley.

The filler hose to the tanks is definitely bigger than 8mm.

Was looking at fitting a "t" piece with non-return valve between the 2 tanks.

Then it's 8mm all the way to the vapouriser and mixer...

The pub sure sounds good.

Are there any that also sell LPG........No Not to drink......:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

PS Missus with a gun..........NOT a good idea,WHAT were you thinking?

Mine has 2 90lt tanks about 80 lt nett two fillers on either side and one domestic 63lbs however many lts that is. When I filled up with autogas today (Flogas) the pump had a pressure gauge which read 200 psi. How can it be so slow at that pressure ??

Because its pushing the liquid gas into the tanks which are already at over 150psi

The filler hose to the tanks is definitely bigger than 8mm.

Inside diameter that counts.

Fill rate is probably determined more by the pump than diameter of pipes with the main problem being that a higher fill rate requires a higher pressure differential and more chance of damage to the gas side of your installation ie the regulator.

What do you mean by "4 holes"

Can see a need for separate liquid inlets so you can just fill one tank to reduce weight, and there will be separate gas lines out of each tank but ???
