Hi Hussar,
I stayed there a couple of years ago. The pitches are laid out in terraces with room for 2 -4 'vans per terrace, amongst trees with views across a small valley. The usual high quality CC facilities. There's a bus stop a couple of hundred yards from the site to get to Salisbury.

Hi Hussar
If you don't want to be tied to the bus into Salisbury( which is a fair bit of dosh if there is a party of you to go in) one of the park and rides has got spaces for any size of motorhome. The attendant who was there when we called in was very helpful, he could even of have been a motorhomer!
Stonehenge is also very easy for Motorhome parking if you are looking to go there.

Bit late now but if you are in the C&CC as well, their site is a lot better for the town than the Caravan Clubs.
Have a good weekend

Just got back from Salisbury C&CC site. Wardens extremely freindly. Easy half hour walk (or 10 min bicycle ride on cycle path along same route) in to the town along the river, nice site, clean facilities. :thumb:
