I'm a newbie November 2014
After our 1st night away in our MH last weekend with the dogs. We are planning to go away again on Saturday.
Such a laugh for 1st night a few crossed words with the wife and dogs but a great time had by all.
Looking at staying at Hillshead near Brixham.
Anyone stayed on this site? What I have read the reviews seem pretty good.
Looking forward to a long weekend soon, so any recommendations of somewhere in Devon/Cornwall good for walking and dogs would be appreciated.

Thanks Steve

Hillhead is lovely. Haven't been with the MH but went several times with the caravan. There's a bus stop right outside the gates so you can get a bus down into Brixham. I grew up there so I'm a bit biased!

It's a great site and the first one I stayed at to try out my first motorhome a few years ago because it is only about 4 miles from me.

Dogs can go on any beach at the moment. You can get the tide times at magicseaweed then put in town you want.

Stayed there a couple of years ago and around this time so not much going on on site apart from the sea mist so no view either. As said, bus stop outside takes you to Brixham one way or Dartford in the other direction. If you forget your stop on the way back just remember to ask for Slappers Hill.

We stayed at Hillhead for a week in September and it was fabulous :)

There is even a restaurant on-site if you don't feel like cooking.

If you get a pitch on the left hand side of the entrance, there are sea views - even the dog walk has sea views.
