hight adjustble rear beds over garage (1 Viewer)

hight adjustble rear beds over garage? does such a thing exist something electric or manual ? any make of van with a tag axle and garage. There seems to one on autotrader I will ring about later...but has anybody got one. Our reason is sometimes my wife cant climb up hight due to her helth condition.

I spoke to a firm to do besoke conversions and they want silly money, but Im sure there must be some way of doing it at reasonable costs.

We've got a Benimar Mileo 201 with a height-adjustable fixed rear bed over the garage and we love it. The pull-out steps are extremely sturdy and may just do the trick for you. We use it on its highest setting and I can still get out in the night safely using the steps. Hope you sort something out.

My friends Hymer tag that he had about 12 years ago had a fully adjustable electric bed over the garage.
You just had to make sure nothing was in the garage above the height that the bed came down to-

thanks for that, I should have said were looking at 7.5mt to 8.5 tags with a large lounge for the days when we stuck inside

We've been looking around as we will be buying early net year and we have found quite a lot of electrically adjusted rear beds
and quite a few over cab beds that are electrically adjustable too
I think quite a few makes with large garages have them tring had now to remember which we were looking at at Brownhills

We have a Rapido 881F with a mechanical adjustable, height wise, rear fixed bed (I am not too keen every thing being electric, more to go wrong) and we don't adjust it that often! - not a tag thought but 7.49m long! They do a tag axle this is an example but sadly the example below is sold!

Chausson do/did a couple - Flash 04 comes to mind... but that's probably not a big enough van for you.

We have a Pilote P650 which has an electric adjustable island bed over a garage at the rear. We have had it for 7 months and it has been absolutely perfect for us. Generally we only need to raise it to fit the bikes in the back. We sleep with it fully lowered and it is easily accessible for sleeping.

Ours is a Dethleffs I-7870 A Class, with the very bed (electrically adjustable, you're looking for and with a large lounge up front. Ours is a 2006 model so I can't be sure for how long they continued to produce them after that.

Our Tag axle Rapido 10001 has a rear island adjustable height bed, it is hydraulicly adjusted, large front lounge and front electrical drop down bed.
There was one for sale on the forum a few months ago, somebody got a real bargin.
