We are sitting 20 odd miles away at Fortrose watching the dolphins

With the weather forecast for rain tomorrow, we will leave a few buckets out to catch some water & bring it with us on Friday ::bigsmile:

Butchers tomorrow for BBQ provisions  - Was going to supply fresh mackerel, but my fishing exploits failed miserably

We're keeping our fingers crossed that water will be flowing by
Friday - but as we are off to France, soon, with nowt but a solar shower, we are getting into practice with no running water:Doh:
Anyway as long as you all have plenty of it, the lack of water will not spoil the weekend - it will give you all something to compalain about:Blush:

First intrepid camels have arrived (but still no water).
Buckets out, but what little rain there is is due to stop in the next hour.
The wind is dropping, too, which is no bad thing.
lobster landed, and good forecast for the weekend. But still could do with some shelter.
see you soon
Margaret

Thanks to you all for coming, without you it would not have been a success:Sad: Particular thanks for the Lobsters, Bill and for driving to and from Dores, Steve. I hope everyone enjoyed it - we certainly did. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.
Any feedback - good or bad - welcome. Already planning Highland gatering and minimeet (or 2) for next year. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for the weekend Margaret & Angus and for the company of all the other intrepid motorhomers that we met.
Sadly we decided that the forecasted grim weather was enough for us to cut short our stay in Scotland & head for home - Peeing down here at the moment ::bigsmile:

Thanks Magsbrin

Really enjoyed the weekend and thoroughly stuffed myself at the barbecue on Sat night. And what about Drew eh! and that swim in Loch Ness before our meal at the Dores....... Brrrrrr ....... brave guy.
I'm in East Kilbride at moment. Off to Ireland next Monday on my 'slow wending meander' to Portugal for the worst of the Winter.
Lovely photo's. Fraid ones I took not the best. will look forward to others.
Happy travels to all.
Steve and Tanya.
