We have just returned to motorhoming, we spent two years touring the US in 1998/99 in a Winnebago which we shipped back, and subsequently sold as it was too big, and expensive to run in the UK. Now we are both fully retired we decided to buy another motorhome, we went to Cologne and bought a Burstner Ixeo 585, and we are planning to head south for Jan/Feb, probably ending up in Cabo de Gata National Park. Does anyone know what the situation is as far as propane bottles in Spain is concerned. I have read blogs that say you need to have your vehicle inspected at considerable cost before you can buy a new bottle in Spain. The advice seems to be to get hold of an empty bottle to get round the certificate problem. Does anyone out there have an empty bottle that I could buy?
