Our jack russell hates the motorhome whilst travelling, but loves the various places that we get to

Hi Oscarsmum :welcome: to Motorhome Fun. We have 2 dogs 1 a Victorian Bulldog who does not settle when travelling not even in the car but loves it when you get to your desination, on saying that when we went to the meet at Shepton Mallet she travelled back more settled than normal so perhaps she is finally getting used to it, and we have a Bernese Mountain dog who tends to sleep on the floor when travelling She's no problem at all. Just make sure you have fresh water for them and dont travel to far without stopping for them, we normally stop every 2 hours for them.

Hi and welcome

We used to have 2 cockers.Benson the old one tucked himself under the dinette so we put a blanket under there for him and Dexter the younger one would lie in between the front seats so again a blanket went down there. They were both fine.

As previously mentioned plenty of fresh water and regular stops and they loved it.

Sadly don't have them anymore

We have a shih tzu, he is 2 in January, and he travels very well in our motorhome.
He usually lies in between the 2 fronts seats, he loves being away and seeing lots of other dogs.
we have just got his pet passport done for next years holiday abroad, trying the tunnel so we can stay with him.
