Hi to everyone!

New here - and new to the whole Motorhome thing as well.

Partner and I are planning to travel for a few years. We are bored with the whole own business, work from home stuff.

Just dunno how we are gonna fit one piano in - Let alone two.......

Warmest,

R(ural)ex

Welcome to motorhome fun.

Dont forget you can get wonderful roll up keyboards that take up little space.

Hi there

Thank you for the replies.

Absolutely no way to any musical appliance. Think we will have to make friends with local churches on the road.

Hi Movan,

We are 34 and 50 and have been together for nearly 12 years.

We need to escape our work as we have lived and worked together all of this time. I guess we won't be needing any tips on spending more time together :ROFLMAO: (As some couples do when they retire).

As we wish to go away for several months at a time and realise personal space might be an issue - We've decided to go for something like an Escape 622 or spirit 560 (geist) I believe swift make similar models which means there are seperate areas (over cab + U shaped seating at rear) and of course, there is always the awning. Reading the forums (I only joined this morning) I haven't found anything negative about these choices but it would be very useful if anybody has had experience with the models

We are both pianists (and organists) and live in Somerset.

Warmest wishes,

Rex

Welcome ::bigsmile:
Sounds like you're used to being around each other all day, so you SHOULD have no problem with a motorhome :winky:

Unless you both have large feet...
Enjoy your travels!

Hi and welcome to the site  I reckon there are two ways you could take the pianos, either tow a trailer with pianos and possibly other stuff in, or else buy a large enough truck for both of you plus the pianos and do your own conversion - you'll save a fortune and you can tailor design the interior for your own needs, incorporating space for the pianos. A horsebox would be good for this, they usually have large drop down doors that give you a slope to wheel the pianos in and out, hope you've got big muscles though, you'll need 'em
