Hi,
I'm Andrew, my wife Lisa and I love our Hymer and especially French summer sun!
We have a Bc544 and are currently sunning ourselves near Narbonne.
Our water pump has stopped working, fuse good, tested all tap micro switches, put 12v across the pump which works. No power across fuse connections on Elektroblock, I am assuming there is a relay
Somewhere in our l/h drive van.
Anyone out there know where the relay is before I get too smelly? Lol
Andrew

If you need help the guys at Narbonne accessories are very helpful, and if it's your pump that's failed then they sell them too.

PS
My handbook says 12v supply must be switched on for pump to work, mine also works with supply switched off , odd :Eeek:

Our Hymer 700 also blew its pump fuse, from memory it was a 5 amp, replaced it with a 10 amp fuse, no more problems. I recall the 5 amp is brown, and at the far end of the elektroblock, not easy to extract or replace. Good luck.

If you still have a problem, does the pump sound as if its under strain, if so, could be it needs cleaning out, may have collected some minute sand which is blocking the non return valve. If so, and the tank is inboard under the table, its not to difficult to extract and clean. If you intend spending time in sandy areas, a spare pump is a very good investment.
