I'm a newbie
Just bought a Hymer 584 and my better half and I are looking forward to our first outing when we get it next week. Any ideas for a UK break thats not too far from the south east and dog friendly?

We are total beginners so this site has been very useful with facts and ideas.

I have some questions on the Hymer and will ask them in the correct sections.

Welcome to the forum, Lloyd and Penny. We have a Hymer B680 Starline S which we bought from Premier Motorhomes at Chichester. Is that who you are buying from? Our annual service will be a long round trip.

Hello and good choice in the Hymer. Holiday parks at camber sands have got good midweek deals to settle the van in and not to far to travel.

Welcome from East Sussex.

Northern France is very close to you.......

Otherwise places like Bodiam, Dover for the castle and Battle of Britain memorial are good for the weekend.

Hi from East Grinstead, fellow 584 owner.
Just got back from Setthorns in the New Forest. Great place for a MH break

Hello and welcome from a fellow Crawley Motorhomer. Like many we first joined the Caravan Club and as a result we have been to Littlehampton a number of times being only an hour away as it is well set out and good facilities for both peace and quiet or with kids, their Farnham site is also good but ultimately you can't beat the New Forest, especially in the Autumn.
