Hi all - I have been lurking here on and off for yonks! Thought as we have just 'come of age' and bought ourselves a nice late model (for us anyway) Rapido A class that it would be polite to join up and officially say hi.
Previous bus's over the years have been a T25 VW Devon poptop (semi pimped) - a very clean and tidy Peugeot coachbuilt - honestly cant remember too much about that one other than we decided that it was not for us on the weekend on the Queens Golden Jubilee and more recently an Autosleepers Clubman GL based on a VW T4 diesel. Great bus but the imminent need for 4 travel seats necessitated the spending of a significant chunk of the children's inheritance.
That's pretty much it - our trips have to fit in around our business, which means that they are all too infrequent. They comprise mainly of surf trips wild camping in France with the occasional camp site stopover thrown in for good measure, and the odd weekend in our home county of Cornwall. Hoping that the Rapido is going to ramp up our awayday rate somewhat.
