Hi,

Jez here recently retired and at 51 have just bought myself a Burstner Ixeo it734 motorhome and in the first five weeks managed to drive 5,500 miles covering a small part of Spain, France, Belgium, The New Forest, Rutland, Lake District, Cumbria, Skye, Scotland (Lomond, Dunnet Head, John O'Groats, Pitlochrie and Edinburgh)

Next week in back off to France and in July I go to the Italian Lakes via France, Germany and Switzerland.

Have I caught the bug?

Welcome to the Fun...

...but I have to say you are rather young to be doing this motorhome nonsense... :Eeek:

Who is going to pay for my pension if all you young'uns pack it in early?

Get back to work and come back in 15-20 years time...

I worked shifts for 30 years and earned my test from working in some incredibly stressful situations. Glad i retired early - you only have one life

Exactly! A motorhome is to enjoy and relax in. I think you're still working - slow down and explore more!
Enjoy your retirement - you've taken the right decision!

P.S. Welcome!
