I have just acquired a Mercedes Hymer mobile that I think is a t1 model From late 70,s but not sure. Any help would be fantastic, thank you in advance for any responses

That looks like a late 70's T1 and I think that even though your picture make it look shorter it's probably the 650. They were built on the same chassis as the later models (I have a 550 on a 309 chassis). You may find that there will be little payload available with your van as the coach built weighs far more than the small models but it's still on the same chassis.

That said, nice one. :)

Check inside habitation door, at floor level, for Hymer's own identification plate.

I understand every Hymer has one.

Armed with this, I am sure Hymer will be able to supply the info you need.

That looks like a great bit of kit... and built on a Merc chassis before Merc got all technical and unreliable !
