Hi there another new member here just saying hello , I've browsed the site a few times as it's came up in various searches over the years soooooo finally decided to join the ranks , i drifted over to motorhomes in 2008 after being an avid restorer of old vw campers since my late teens. ..Being from Scotland I tend to wildcamp as opposed to campsites and have been round most of the UK over the years ( although I still find new places ) ....taking a trip over to France in 3 weeks time hoping to do the west coast no fixed route just do it gypsy style :)

So anyway just thought I'd say hi and any recommendations of places to visit on our trip will be much appreciated

Happy camping

Tam

Thanks for the welcomes guys

@wildman im hoping so i was there 20 years ago with an old vw campers that broke down daily whilst I was there it was the funniest holiday ever although I used campsites that time round.

I've armed myself with the "all the aires of france" book as I plan to only use the odd campsite if neccasary ...i would like to find spots near beaches etc if possible but will see what it's like once there .....any recommendations for the west coast gratefully received
