I am new to this forum so please be gentle with me!
my better half & I have been motorhoming for some years now, but due to the long stays in the one place on the campsite where we work during the summer months in france (oh come on I hear you say!) we are now looking hard at the fith wheel option.
done the car towing thing, down sized the motorhome 3 yrs ago to be able to go shopping now & then but tired of the "pallaver" we like the idea of dropping the rig on the pitch & having a motor to get about. love reading your forum threads getting all the "info" We know there are pros & cons with everything! got all season to make up our minds before we get back to the uk.
hopefully, I can be of help to some problems that crop up on the forum.
thanks all.

Can't help at all with your problem, but a very warm welcome to the FUN!

I'm sure it will be both as useful and as much fun as you might expect - and then more so!!

Cheers, guys

Hi,
This is my frst time too! We have just bought a fifth wheeler the "Celtic Rambler" from the fifthwheel company (2nd hand!) we purchased it for the same reason as you are thinking of, being able to unhitch and drive around town etc.
Well our first trial is going to be the Stratford Motor Show, so I will let you know how it goes! Good Luck whatever you decide. K::bigsmile:
