Just received a Sky on demand widget..

You plug it in to the sky box via a USB socket, and connect it to your broadband wifi.

Soooooooooooooooo

Seems to be a bit of a waste using it for that.. All a bit muddled in my head at the moment but I suspect his may be usable for something else, such as a remote dongle of some sort ?

its all about on demand services like iplayer, itvplayer, movies etc however you can also set programs to record via the sky website and a few other bits.

Sorry.. forgot I had posted this..

Yes, I know what it is supposed to be used for, but I have a sneaky feeling it might be of use in some other job.. Like a WiFi hub in your van for instance.. I just cannot get my head fully round it..
