Hello, all!
We are complete novices, but very keen to get started on some new adventures.

So far, we have visited a few MH dealers, and the NEC show in September, which left us quite confused!

Our search criteria changes from time to time, but we are now looking for fixed single bed plus garage layout, (mainly for carrying bikes within the MH) on a not-too long MH, and have a few makes in mind- mostly German. However, we'd really appreciate any hints, tips, suggestions, warnings, anecdotes..:)

I have browsed this forum a bit before joining, and look forward to hearing from the real experts here, the ones already living the dream!

Thanks for the welcome, Jim.

Hi Fifiwi...

Would second what david said... Southdowns at Portsmouth have a large and varied stock.

Burstner Nexxo would be my choice ------------ but then I am on my second Burstner Nexxo T660
Low profile and a perfect layout for us two. We don't have bikes
TV position is also important to us, we can sit in the most comfortable revolving front seats and be able to put our feet up.
The 728/9 looks to have a poor shower room compared to the 660 - but hey, its all one big compromise.
It would depend on the value of the bikes, many have them hung on the back quite happily. A reversing camera does keep an eye them.

Would concur re Southdowns Motorhomes. We bought our Avondale from them, as first timers, 4 1/2 years ago. They were very helpful and I can't fault the service.
