    currently sat on a site by the lake at Annecy What a beautiful place and if you haven't been there, put it at the top off your list of places to visit. we travelled down the German Mosel from Koblenz through Luxemburg (fuel at E 1.40) and south via Metz, Nancy and Beseconn good aire there!
    site bit unkemp as it closes on 30 Sep but good access to town and lake.:thumb:

    Hi , We visited a couple of years ago, beautiful place but the aire was full to bursting so stayed a few miles away at la balme de sillingy north east of Annecy, nice aire by a lake / park with pub/inn.

    There is a 6 van Aire just across the road from Mc Donalds in Servier just south off Annecy Not in the Aires book tho.
    IF I knew how to put photos on here I would. Advice pse

    Well I have to say, we last visited on the way back from Garda and I agree Annecy is mega cute but compared to Garda it's not a lake more a puddle.

    Have looked at the video as suggested but it states that the photo has to come from the internet so no good as I have saved them in my pictures on here:Eeek:

    Love Garda and on next yrs list of places to go to again

    to upload from computor click on the paperclip above where you type your post, it will come up with a box and click browse your computor, it will then take you to where you have pics stored find the file or pic then click on it and click open, it will then upload into the browser box click upload and it will then attach to the arrow by the paper clip, click on that and click on link and it should appear in your post when you submit.

    We spent a week in Annecy 2 summers ago and loved it such a lovely place
