Are you new to cars too? Tyre pressures should be checked cold on any vehicle.

thanks it just that i read an article somewhere and you had to allow pressure being greater when warm

That's true but the calculation to work out how much extra to allow is very complicated and you would have to measure the temperature of your tyres etc. to get it accurate. Much easier to do it cold.
