    Hi Folks

I'm trying to find a couple of spare Rear Indicator Lamp Bulbs but I'm struggling to find them.

The markings on the bulbs that are fitted are: SE 12V C - 21W (E19) 2L2.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Jim

Have you tried Halfords, they sell quite a few different types. Is it not a standard 21 watt bulb?

    Phil.

If you google 'auto bulbs' or something similar ther are lots of sites showing the various types and styles, shapes etc. You should be able to match up with the ones you've got. I've had a look but the numbers you've quoted don't match, perhaps they are american numbers but they all look familiar to UK ones to me, I am sure you can match them.

Hi Folks, thanks to those who replied. Yes its an American Number, yes it is a 12 Volt, 21 Watt Bulb, but its not a standardish shape.

It has a metal point of contact at both ends and is long and narrow. Iv'e been on Ebay and cant find one like it. Iv'e been on the web and found one very much like it at twisty's but I dont know what length this bulb is.

I havent been to Halfords yet cos they very rarley have what I want, I'll nip down today and have a look. They have changed the format of their web site re: light bulbs. You now have to put the make and model of your car in so that they can tell you what you want

I'll find them somewhere I just thought that somebody may recognise it. Thanks again.

That says Festoon to me, but 21W is a big one.

Yes Brian you are correct, it is a festoon bulb, 21W is whats stamped on to the ends of the bulb and I agree it does sound rather large.

Well it's Yank, innit, what else can you expect.

    If you type

    21W Festoon

into Google you get 67,900 hits. Surely one is correct.

    Hi ShiftZZ.
This is the bulb I'm after.

    http://www.lamps-on-line.com/cgi-bin/gl_products.pl?AUTOMOTIVE|FESTOONLAMPS

The chap at lamps on line doesnt want to sell it to me because from the description I have given him he say's its an American threaded bulb not available in the UK

I have the bulb sat in front of me and its the same as the one that the link takes you to.

It shouldn't be this hard should it ?

There's an other site that I can get it from.

    Cheers

    Jim
