Help required,water tap (1 Viewer)

Hi hope someone can help, have just had to mop up a huge leak that happened when I used the tap in the bathroom,although the tap is working o.k, when I turned it on lots of water seems to be escaping from underneath the taps,when turned off no leak ?

Coupling beneath leaking probably - could be a washer where they connect if you are lucky! Whip it off, and have a look.

Had similar on my first outing in my new van.
I found that right below the sink was a push fit pipe that had come away from the joint right below the plug.
Pushed it back on tight and it sorted the problem.

Might be something as simple as that?
