I am absolute rubbish at finding stuff on ebay... can anyone find these for me please on e=bay ... they are ten pounds and can obviously save water when having a shower as you pull trigger to release the water...... I can't find them but have been told they are there. Thank you.

Broken Link Removed also will they fit ALL shower heads please

Here you are Joy.

It should fit the shower tube but may not fit into the holder. It will have to hang seperately

John.

Instead of looking for trigger shower head, look for Shattaf , there are loads most include the hose but there is this one without hose, from China free p&p....£8.99

Is it for your home or van Joy ? Will only work in your van if it's a pressurised system, if the tap is the microswitch type, the pump will run all the time.

Sorry about that. I saw the exact one you bought listed as a Shattaf a couple of months ago, complete with hose for about £8, exact same one in caravan shop was £18. Put the word caravan or motorhome on a product and the price doubles. Anyway, yours is still a bargain compared to some.

:( I don't know... Oh, dear, have I just wasted my money when I was actually trying to save some. How do I know if it is microswitch please?

Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Hello Joy ,such a lovely name, shared by my mum !
We bought one two years ago and can honestly say they save water and are well worth the money.
For that money they are obviously not metal and although a universal fit ours leaked. Don't worry though the fix is really easy all you need is some plumbers tape wrap it around the thread a few times on the shower head then twist it onto the shower hose. Because it's plastic tighten it up by hand then try it ,it may not leak.If it does you have to use a spanner ,after twisting as hard as you can by hand ,just give it a half turn then try the tap again ,if it doesn't leak job done.
If it still leaks another half turn and try again, keep repeating the steps until it works with no leaks. If you go straight for the spanner and tighten from the start you may over tighten and crack the thread.

Regards Vlad .

I think if it is a micro switch system Joy the pump will stop immediately after turning the tap off. If pressurised the pump will run for a second or so after turning off the tap.

Thanks John, I have to go up tomorrow to check the mice and rats are still happy and take their food order ....;);) so will switch the pump on then the tap on and off and see how long before the pump stops. (have I understood that fully?) So it will only work if the pump continues to work for a couple of seconds after the tap switches off .. is that right?

Sorry, real dumbo with electrics etc.

Wouldn't have thought you'd need a trigger Joy. Slim girl like you already has to run around in the shower to get wet!

Nothing's simple Eh? Right sized hose, but it may not fit the cradle. Chrome turns out to be plastic, then you need PTFE tape and Robin Knox-Johnston hanging off a wrench to stop it leaking! Arghhhh!

Good luck with the purchase.
