A good friend of mine has finally been persuaded to get into our great hobby.
He is having a custom demountable made for his works pickup.

I am just trying to make as comprehensive a list as possible for stuff he needs to buy and I am hoping we can crowd source it and get a full list that will be useful to all new comers.

If I start the list would you kind and helpful people mind copy and pasting and adding your own items please?

I think this would be useful for new comers as well. Add stuff even if is something only a few people might want as it can be knocked off the personal list if people don't want it.

I am asking on here because I am a full timer and don't have many requirements. I have also bought items over the years that I may have forgotten so any help is greatly appreciated.

I'd take an adjustable spanner instead of 'just' a gas one.

Short spirit level.

Pair of sturdy gardening gloves - or heavy duty rubber for yucky jobs.

Summat to wash (at least) your windscreen with - cloth or eg soft brush - (Pete has been known to use the dustpan brush duct taped to an extension piece - may have been the ext pole for the beach umbrella?) to de-fly the overcab when it got too bad!

Collapsible bucket (if no room for a proper one.)

Funnel with flexible , err? spout.

We bought a round zippy cover to put the hose reel in, then went back and bought another which we stick the EHU cable in - locker - and cable - neatness!
