I have a VW LT32 campervan whose springs are nearing the end of their life. I've read about how they can look 'worn out' before they are because their design is such that they are intended to go straight when under load, but these really are worn out.
My question is does anyone know where new or scrap springs for such an old van (1984) can be found. Internet searhes have drawn a blank so far.

Any help much appreciated

That was quick!

Thank you very much for your advice - I've spoken to Midland Road Springs and once I've sent them a picture they will decide whether new ones or a refurb is possible.

Your help is much appreciated

Hi, I have a VW LT28 with a saggy bottom, mainly caused by extra tanks fitted.
Just as a point of interest how much did they charge and did you have extra leaves fitted or the old springs retentioned.

Hi,

He put two new leaves in each side, and 4 new (longer) U bolts. He also cleaned them off and put a coat of black paint on. £230 the lot.

I'm very pleased!

Sounds a good price to me...:thumb:

Air shocks cost me approx £450 to fit and sort the rear end handling on mine....
