Help planning Route in Loire Valley (1 Viewer)

i am near Puy Du Fou and would like to travel along some areas of the Loire Valley
Can someone help with suggesting sites near walkable towns or short flat cycle routes?
Maybe a Vineyard Stay?

Hi, if you travelling between blois and Orleans on D2152 when you reach mer turn on to D112 to muides sur Loire. Once you get out of town it a straight road, over the Loire bridge turn sharp right at the end of the bridge down to a municipal elections camp site on the bank of the Loire.
Cycle ride on d112 to chambord and other rides the the Forrest. Alternative down the side of the Loire to blois.

We used a campsite at Les Rosier sur Loire a couple of times though not for a few years. It's possible to cycle up one side of the Loire to Saumur and back down the other side, about 12 miles each way. Site was 'old fashioned French' but fine in all respects.

I just left Montsoreau yesterday - this is the campsite- . Montsoreau is a small town but has a couple of bars and a restaurant or two and a fab Castle. It is on the South Bank of the Loire and has an entrance to the bike path directly from the site. They don't take the ACSI card but they gave us a discount of €3.50 as we had been there before and also didn't charge for the dog. We still paid €19 though. It also has a lovely pool and half decent restaurant! I would certainly go back again

Just on our way to Montsoreau, agree with @Lookaround . Not much in village but site is good. Cycle routes along the river are well used.

Great relies such a helpful forum while travelling, especially when looking for ideas and a new traveller to France.
