Hello everybody.

My family (wife, son 15, daughter 5) and I are hiring a motorhome in August and are looking for some places to stay as we do a loop down to Disney and across to the Loire, then southern, west and north Brittany and along Normandy back to the Chunnel.::bigsmile:

We need and Aire close to Calais (no more than 1 hour) - 1 night
Disney - staying in coach park - 1 night
West of Paris towards Loire - 1 night
Angers (or nearish) - 2 nights
South Britanny - 3 nights (with pool, close to sea)
West Britanny - 4 nights (with pool, close to sea)
Mont St Michelle - 1 night
Bayeaux - 1 night
Calais - 1 night

All the single nights could be Aires.

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Mark

You can stay overnight free on the dock at Calais, outside the ferry offices, no facilities,or there is an official Aire at Calais with all facilities, it is 7 euros per night I think.:thumb::thumb:

Lots, on and off, way back to VW splitty`s!
If you go to Mont St Michel aire, go late afternoon and see it lit up at night. The queue through the village in the morning trying to get in can extend a few miles.

Welscome to Motorhome Fun.

I think you may find Brittany heaven for Motorhomes, here is a link that may help.

http://campingcar-infos.com/index1.htm

You dont say if you have a sat nav, there are a number of free downlads available that may help...

Not sure that I can suggest any aires in Brittany that have pools, as we tend to wildcamp..

I am sure you will love it.

Hi Boris, welcome to FUN

I see this is your first post
I think you've mistaken this site for a travel agency::bigsmile:

Since your itinery is so precise, I think you need to get some books and do a bit of planning.

At that time of the year you will find sites very busy, so a little checking of availability might be in order, especially if you want pools.

Let us know how you get on

Have a great holiday

We stayed at Trinite-sur-mer at a place called Camping la plage - it is a lovely site, on the beach with a lovely pool. We had a lovely time there. Hope this helps.
