anyone come across swift bolero 600ek 2.2 non start issue whereby plenty of battery and fuel but will not fire into life...RAC man spent over an hour trying to fathom out what the problem is he did however rule out the ignition immobiliser, his software on his diagnostic laptop was not able to read fault so Iv'e still got a dead vehicle.. just wondering if anyone else had had a similar problem?

we had the same problem new years day, we had breakdown out and after 30 mins he could not find out why it did not start, said it could possibly be the solenoid.
Well my husband and son had a look last night and it is fuel not getting through, the black box immobilisor was stopping fuel getting through, so it has been taken off and hey presto the engine fired up.

Hope you get your sorted soon

your immob works on two or more circuits, so while the starter will turn the fuel solenoid may still be closed.

if it's a fiat base then the immobiliser is part of the ECU and if faulty it may mean a replacement ECU and coded keys
