Judy was doing some cooking in the "Half Time Oven"..... when it just stopped...

I have checked behind where the fuse panel and all the trip switches are.. and the one marked "Microwave" has tripped...

I have tried to lift or switch it back on but no joy...

Do they reset after a period of time?

Any idea`s, please.. :thumb:

as Brian said, if you can unplug the microwave the better...may be a fault in the flex !

switch the breaker back on then the oven.....if it trips again you have a faulty oven (or flex) and will lose weight rapidly due to hunger.

Make sure it is pushed right down (off) before attempting to reset. I have found some that need this to reset.

Agreed John, but American breakers are pretty primative and they may not have caught up with technology yet

I think they are also thermal rather than magnetic John, so need to cool of..

Mo, .. good excuse to grab a beer by the bar :winky:

Thanks for all the suggestions, those that said to push the LCB switch down past the off to reset were 100% correct..

Olley on the RVOC told me to try this which I did and it reset..

Again thanks all for suggestions.. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

I was told by an RV mech". that our electrickery is a different frequency to the US so it"s best to unplug yer" microwave/combi oven if not in use. We had to buy one a few years ago cos" it died and were told that was the cause.
