After a close encounter with a rogue website, I've installed Malwarebytes Premium on both mine and Barrie's laptops.
I ran the scan on Barrie's lappy and it threw up 464 Potentially Unwanted Programmes (it's never been scanned before!) which I quarantined.
Somewhere in the process, it has signed him out of his Microsoft account. Trying to sign him back in, I've found that the '@' key is coming up as ' " ' instead so entering his email address is impossible.
Some of the surrounding keys seem to have changed their function too.
I've tried rebooting it to no avail.
Mr Google doesn't seem to know what to do either.
Any ideas?
