I feel a bit daft asking this question but....for some reason I have deleted my ITunes download. I have now downloaded a new copy.
My problem is, when I plug my IPod into my pc the ITunes tells me that my iPod is registered to my previous copy and the only way to proceed is to delete all my stored music.
My question is... How do I back up my IPod so that I can reload it after I have registered with my new copy of ITunes?

Thanks tofo that was very quick. That sounds like it could work, at least it will give me a back up. Sorry about your windows 7 episode, I will keep that in mind when I update to seven in a couple of weeks.
Thanks

If you authorise the new itunes with your account you should be able to sync you ipod to your PC, this will copy all music from your ipod to the computer.
