Is there anyone out there who knows about the Maxview MXL004 Satellite System we are in the South of France and now struggling to get any UK TV Channels through Astra 28.2 E we have around 2500 channels in Arabic Spanish German Dutch French and so on

You will not get any uk tv from that system they changed the sati lights a few months ago

Get the monopoly out
Bloody robbing buggers. Now you have to have a new system to see what you used too viewvoh:oh:

You are definatly NOT aligned on the correct satellite..
Sound like you are on 13 east or 19 east....
left and down a bit is my advise.. :thumb:

If you have a Maxview free to air receiver then put it on the Sky news channel as that usually has an easier / stronger signal to find..

Yup, your on the wrong sat.. You are on the old sky bird at 19 east

You will need to be patient but you also need to move it 9 degrees further west.. You will also have to change the angle you have it set it to as well.. It will be slightly lower

The above may prove useful but you do neeed to find Astra 2 first and you may have to alter the skew angle of your LNB wihich just means twisting it clockwise and the further south you go the more you need to twist it.

We had Sky tele right down Spain and Portugal right up to mid April on an 80cm Mobilsat dish
Persevere as the satellites are still there until the 19th July after that it will be anyones guess
