We already posted in the beginners, but I thought it good to put a bit more info here. We just bought our 1st camper, Impulse buy. We have 8 children aged 8 to 23, 4 of them fostered and 7 of them still living at home, they all love camping trips, and this should be a lot of fun. The 1st thing we did was fill it up with diesel, however the gauge did not go up, odd, until we found another fuel cap. doh. We have since spent the last week cleaning out the water tank, at last the small of diesel has completely gone. The van runs very nicely inside is clean and tidy with no sign of damp, it does need a bit of work to get everything before working our 1st proper camping trip, so I expect we will post quite a few questions.

Welcome! I assume the kids will be in a tent and travel separately - it will certainly be cosy when they all come to visit you. Just don't let them use your loo or you'll be emptying it every 15 minutes!
