Hi there everyone. I've lurked on this forum for some months and used it as a resource for all my investigations into buying our first motorhome. Its refreshing to see how friendly and welcomming it is.

We have 2 young children and being quite young ourselves have limited funds for family holidays so thought that the best way would be a motorhome so we can have lots of weekends away. So we bought the best motorhome we could we our funds and can happily report that we managed to find a 1992 Swift Capri 540GXL to carry us on our travels.

As we live in Lincolnshire our first weekend away has been to Woodland Waters at Ancaster so that we were not far away from home in case we had any problems. It all went very well and we have also now joined the National Trust and followed that by two day trips to Gunby Hall and Belton House. So far so good and we are all enjoying already!

Hi and welcome:thumb:
We started off many years ago with a bay window VW and then went on to a Toyota Newlander coachbuilt. Our kids are now in their thirties and still recall all the great times they had with us. You will build memories that will last forever. Enjoy every moment.::bigsmile:
