I'm a newbie
Good afternoon everyone.
I was sitting thinking the other day about what i needed to do to make my life more enjoyable.
I pondered about the things that make me happy and the things that stress me out.
I realised that i missed my camping experiences which i haven't done for a few years now.
The reason i stopped camping was because of the hassle of setting everything up (especially in the rain). But i really do miss the outdoor experience.
So, the light bulb moment happened and the thought of owning a campervan materialised.
I'm now seriously thinking about saving up and getting one.
I have a few hobbies I'd like to try out, metal detecting, walking, finding new places, etc..
The next step is to work out how much i need to save up to be able to purchase a vehicle that suites my needs.
My partner will no doubt want to join me when she isn't doing other things and there aren't any kids around to worry about. So it's got to be comfortably spacious for two.
As a complete newbie to this, i have very little knowledge of good/bad campervans so i have no idea what to look for or avoid.
Hence, one of the reasons why I've joined this forum.
Well, i guess I'd best be off to see what info and advice i can gather for this adventure.
Wish me luck!
Andy

Hello Welcome to Fun, you need to set yourself a realistic budget of what you want to spend, then you can make decisions on which kind of van will suit you. As you say research is the best starting point, good luck :welc:
