Hello from West Sussex (1 Viewer)

Hello. We bought a Majestic 175 six weeks ago and have already been away in the UK for a two week holiday and a couple of weekends away.
We have had caravans for over 30 years and decided now was the time to change. We wish we had done it earlier!
I have been looking on this forum for a few months and picked up lots of tips - so thanks. In fact, I have become addicted, my husband rolls his eyes when I say "On the forum they say............" he agrees that you guys have lots of advice and support to give so we will be asking lots of questions.
We are really looking forward to going to France. We travelled with the caravan to France and saw how motor homes were able to park in towns and on Aires. Can't wait ......

Hi fidget. We have noticed that the tunnel is £149 (using tesco vouchers) for 5 days in France we were thinking of going in the last week of October (half term) I'm really not sure of two things - getting through the tunnel, will it be better by then and what are the aires like at that time of year?
We have been loads of times with a caravan not at the end of October though but want to try out aires with our MH. As it's just five days probably won't go far down. I know lots of campsites are closed by then but what are the aires like?
Any advice?
