Hi Ben

Most American RV's are totally self sufficiant for a week, needing to take no water on board or empty any grey or black waste, no need for electric hook up as they have generators that will more than cope with replenishing the batteries.

The only draw back can be the space required to park, if like me they also have a trailer on the back with a car on. So all we need is that bit of grass :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Hopefully people will take their rubbish with them as well.

All the best Rick.

Thanks to Taran_Las & weekenders for the welcome.

I've spoken with the West Dorset Countryside Manager today who confirmed that we do allow motorhomes on the site (field) we have on the Golden Cap Estate - no hook-up / facilities, just water... I'll get more details & put them on my blog for you - would be good to see a few people!

I will also escalate the questions about over-nighting on Trust land to the guy who's heading up the 'Outdoors' campaign we're running in 2011 as a large part of that involves camping.

As I said - no promises! but no harm in asking...
