Hi, A newbie to the motorhome forum, my wife and me have been busy selling anything we don't need to fund this hobby, we know very little about motorhomes but have decided we want to jump in one on a Friday and chill at the seaside with our dogs, I have driven a vw autohomes 2.4 diesel explorer which was nice but awful to drive but affordable, the top of our wish list now is a fiat 2.8jtd lunar newstar 58 which we looked at yesterday, 53 plate low milage rear lounge absolutely lovely but we didn't test drive. more advice on prices, problems etc with this model would be much appreciated. Wanting a motorhome has become an obsession for us, do you think its all worth it? cheers steve and nade.

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
Yes it's worth it. We have sold our much loved first, family mh. Ralph's building our own, bespoke PVC , we've both got withdrawal symptoms.
We can't wait to get away for weekends again. We love our Friday to Sunday breaks. A great way to spend quality time together doing the things we both enjoy.
Welcome to MHF .

Welcome, what's not to like, your own home, bed, space, go more or less where you please. If you think you may not take to it try hiring, there are ones where you can take dogs, might save you a packet, but more likely to get you well and truly hooked.

Hi Welcome, yes so worth it, but make sure it's the model lay out you like, check it for damp no matter what year, check the pay load, and also that it's the lay out that works for you. :welc:
