Hello from LDV Luton van motorhome conversion! (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

Just found your forum and signed up!

I started converting my LDV Convoy Luton van in July this year. At the finishing stages now, then heading off to Wales for Christmas and New Year in it - test run! Plans to hit Europe in 2016.

Van is fully self sufficient with regards to power (large solar setup), heating (log burner!), etc. Living in it now so as to test things properly as I've built it (no shower leaks, etc!). Great fun, awesome project... and starting to see the finishing line at last!

careful with that log burner..plenty of ventilation! as they suck the oxygen out of the air..

Ralph's just about finished Pug. An xlwb Peugeot van. It's taken him most of the year. We don't full time, love our house and home comforts too much. He's done a thread on here, but it's in desperate need of updating.
We plan to use him as much as pos all year round, like our old one. More than plenty insulation , diesel heating , solar, compressor fridge, deep cell battery. Plus every man gadget going........ Planning on a nice trip to Moffat and the surrounding area 28/12/15 for a couple of weeks. Can't wait.
