Hello everyone. Me and Carole have just joined and we are really looking forward to our first long trip in our new second hand A class Fiat Ducati Laika. We retired to Spain about 14 years ago and this year we will spend Christmas in a hotel in Benidorm then we are travelling from there on the 27th up to Zaragoza, over the Pyrenees, up the West coast of France to St. Malo, then across to Portsmouth. We are visiting family in London, Bedford then down to the West Country for a few days over New Year. Early January will see us start our trek back. Not far for many of you experienced Motorhomers but although we are excited about this little adventure we are also having a few 'butterflies' as it will be a totally new experience for us. Being a member now makes us feel like we're not quite alone anymore. Any advice and tips will be relished!!

Hi Edriver and Carole welcome to fun, just remember you are going in the wrong direction it gets colder that way, so make sure you have plenty of water with you.
You mentioned London, check your motorhome is OK to enter the LEZ zone, have a safe trip. Bob and Janie.

I was thinking exactly the same thing myself! Gas supply also a concern travelling in winter, as presumably you have spanish bottles? May be worth fitting a refillable when you are here...welcome by the way!

Quite a few funsters in Banidorm for Christmas meeting up, I'm sure you would be made welcome, have a look on "crazy gang" thread (bet they are pussy cats really)
