hello from anther newbie (1 Viewer)

We are just about to embark on our 1st real trip, we've had a few days away just to get used to the van and sort out any problems. The first of which was to upgrade our GPS system to include vehicle dimensions, having spent a few nervous hours negotiating totally unsuitable routes. Hope to get down to Portugal and then tour central Spain. Any tips on where to park near Madrid?

Found a place to park near the metro station in Valerbanardo (Madrid) no facilities but lots of vans on mixed parking, co-ordinates N40° 21' 45.23" W03° 37' 05.53" quite easy to get to just of the main drag, only stayed a night on the way down but across the road from a supermarket. Safe travels
