Hello everybody. We have been caravanning for the last 4 years and decided to try a motorhome. We had hoped to get one before Christmas but it never worked out so now we might as well hang on till March 1st to get the 2014 plate. Looking forward to meeting you all

Hi welcome to fun, if I were thinking of buying my first van I would take my time read as much as I can then think do I really need a 2014plate or should I get a feel for it first.

Of course you may already have done this, whichever route you choose it's a wonderful world of motorhomes out there just waiting to be found,

Hi and welcome, I agree with a previous poster, make sure the layout is right for you, as buying brand new as a first timer could be a very expensive mistake!
They do say that you hardly ever get it right first time, and it takes about 3 purchases before you truly find the right one for you.
If you plan on going ahead with a new purchase then maybe a visit to a show would be best so you can see as many layouts as possible. Stick on this forum and ask lots of questions. We've all been there. Good Luck and Happy motoring
