Hi all,
Last year I bought a new Fiat Ducato Adria Sunliving and caught the last of the rays going out and about in it quite happily in the summer. Its not been used over the winter but I have kept it ticking over and all has been well .... until this week.

So far I've had to replace the battery (flat as a pancake - live and learn) and now I'm trying to get it ready to go out on Tuesday... and I have no water coming out of the taps.

I filled the tank yesterday adding appropriate fluid to rinse it out but when I tried the taps nothing happened, except it poured out of the bottom of the vehicle (not from the grey waste pipe) and also rose up and leaked all over the bathroom floor....

I went back to the manual and am now aware of the frost prevention valve and having switched that off... (I think) I still have no water :-(

What am I doing wrong? I know its me.... but I just can't figure it out and now I can't see the wood for the trees...... help :-( please?

Does the pump kick in when you turn on a tap? If not make sure the water pump is switched on.
If the pump works, have you bled the air out of the system starting with the hot tap furthest from the pump and then bleeding the rest of the hot taps. Then return to the first tap and bleed the air from the cold water pipes, in turn as you did with the hot.

No the pump isn't kicking in. Do you mean switched on at the main power source or from somewhere else? Thank you Bill

On the frost prevention valve when you turned it closed did you also push in the button on the front side?

OK back to basics, is the 12v supply turned on on the control panel, is the leisure battery charged. And is the tap icon switched on?

Yes Lorryman to all your questions... wtiched on - so tap icon lit to show tank is half full. Leisure battery recently checked and ok. Stupid question but how do I know whether the pumps switched off at the panel?!

Every contol panel is different but there should be a switch of some sort with a tap icon on it. This switches the pump on and off.

For example on this panel there is a switch to turn on the 12v and another with a tap icon that turns on the pump.

Ok have attached some photos... with the frost prevention Valve if it's vertical, the button doesn't press in and the water leaks out from the tank. If it's horizontal the button depresses and that stops that.

I put the power on tap shows, I move dial to what I think is pump I hear it click on when I turn the tap but instead the water leaks to left rear of Moho (under sink) and also comes up through the floor by the loo and shower!

That shouldnt happen at anytime!! Looks as if you have a leak in the pipework or a connecter has popped off, best to switch off the pump and get it looked at.

You might have a burst pipe or fitting due to frost damage over the winter. I would drain down your water tank just in case there's any chance the water might syphon out at the damage, then follow the pipework runs, but be aware it might be a hardly visible hairline crack in one of the plastic tee pieces or straight connectors, the braided nylon hose usually just bulges or is forced off a connector when subjected to frost.
