im a newbie
I spoke about getting a motorhome last year but it never worked out, but we pick up our first motorhome after Easter. Its a 05 Elnaugh Marlin which has been really looked after by the present owners. We hope to get away the following weekend 14/ to 16th, possibly Silverdale or somewhere in the lakes.. I have never drove anything as big but its not going to hold us back, I know i will be nervous to start but hopefully will get all the teething problems out of the way the first couple of trips. I had a quick drive of it when we went to look at it and my misses said I never stopped smileing, hope it carrys on.

Hi and welcome to the fun, I joined the forum just after I got my van 3 years ago, great set of funsters on here, loads of advice and help available. I havn't mamaged to get to any of the rallies yet to meet the members face to face but I will one of these days. I'm sure after a few miles you will get used to the extra length and width of the van, enjoy :thumb:

Our fourth glorious year!
Hello John and Sue,
We only got going just over a year ago and not without some trepidation but driving something bigger is easy once you get used to it and relax into it.
I am sure you will have no problem.Enjoy!:thumb:
