My advice is to use the covers as Stagman suggests.

The stick on deflectors are rubbish no matter where you buy them from.
When you have fitted them, the heat from your headlights and the glue
and perspex of your lens react, and no matter how you try you will end
up with your lamps marked when you remove them.
I now have an etched outline of the deflectors showing on my Ducato,
which can only have been caused by dust particles being attracted to the
glue on the edge of the deflectors, during driving.
replacement of your headlight will be far more expensive than buying the covers.
They take only minutes to fit, I learned by my mistake.

Steve

7 years 55K miles all over Europe always use stickers, never a mark on the plastic headlamp coverings.
Remove the residue glue with Olive Oil ..... Popeye wont mind. :xrofl:

If you don't drive at night do you have to have then as we will only be driving in the day time

Then the ferry is late arriving so you drive off IN THE DARK, now you ARE driving in the dark :xrofl:

I use methylated spirits or deicer to remove the adhesive from beam deflectors on polycarbonate headlight lenses. It takes a while but does not damage the lense.

Have you tried WD40? There is a thread on here giving a thousand and one uses for the stuff :coolest:

Don't european headlights have a flat dip, so no need for beam deflectors? sorry if this does not give the kippers another excuse for a ridiculous anti EU rant:) I just leave the headlight protectors with converters on all the time....

Yes , they go up= main beam , they go down = dip . They don't go down & dip to right. This is why you see so many spaniards in the campo with fog lights on so they can see the ditches at side of road.:sneaky:
