Finally persuaded SWMBO that we should head South to warmer climbs. Very wet and windy here in France at the moment North of Bordeaux. Looking to get to Hondarribia for an overnight before pushing onto the Med.......happy days.

Very, very windy and wet in the Pyrenees, plenty of snow above 1800m.
Weather in France not looking good for a week or so, good decision to go to Spain, looks much better there.

Just heard on TV1 that there is another front on the way which will last until the end of next week i.e. Saturday/Sunday...also coming from the Atlantic and hitting Portugal first and they are really going to get it bad this time... and then all will be good and we will be back to wall to wall sunshine as usual!

As @gus-lopez says regardless of wind it is very warm! 20ºC in Valencia and even higher in Alicante and Murcia!.

We're on the Friday night ferry to Santander. Haven't yet decided where we're going. Just keeping an eye on the weather forecast before deciding whether to travel clockwise or anti-clockwise. If Portugal's looking dodgy, we'll head towards Valencia.

For anyone who is less inclined to do the whole dash thing from Hondarrabia to Beni, I can recommend the Aire at Carenina, about 37 miles below Zaragoza. Seven spots (unless you're a W Anchor from Belgium who parked sideways), very quiet and next to the Sports Hall.
