Hi folks, heading to Le Mans from Calais on Thursday any ideas on stop offs, heading down west coast of France too Spain then down to Costa Blanca all advice welcome xx

La Suze sur Sarthe €5 per night, nice town 5mins walk. Stayed here last month beside the river if you are early enough free electric.

 

[Taran_Las]

Le Mans has a free aire down by the river with a restaurant opposite. Takes approx 7 vans. 10 minute walk into town (or go by tram). Le Mans is a wonderful medieval town.

Alencon has a municipal.

If you have time then the Ile de Re near La Rochelle is worth a visit.

Beaumont sur Sarthe, 20 mins from Le Mans south of Alencon. Lovely municipal by the river near the town great for shopping and fuel.
