We went shopping today, and visited our local Hawkshead Outlet store. Huge posters in their window advising that they are closing down, and massive reductions on all items.

Chatting with the staff (who, unfortunately, will all lose their jobs), Hawkshead are closing all their Outlet stores, and only keeping open the ones in the High Streets.

We have no connection with this company, but know how canny Funsters are, and like to take advantage of a bargain.

Always good to know where to pick up a bargain, but it is sad when it means someone is looseing their jobs. We went into Hawkshead at Betwy-coed last week and they had a huge sale on one of the best things I bought were some little sheepskin type booty slippers down to £2.50p from £12 I got a couple of pairs great for in the van on a cold night.
